Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Program
The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) training program, also known as Nursing Assistant – Certified (NA-C), provides basic understanding and skills required for nursing assistants working in nursing homes, hospitals, medical clinics, home care agencies, and in other settings. The CNA training program from ProCare Academy includes lecture and hands on practice all within a caring and supportive learning environment. Students will experience basic adult/geriatric care as well as an introduction to pediatric care. ProCare Academy’s CNA training program meets all Washington State and OBRA (national) standards.
- Successful students will be eligible to take the NNAAP written and skills test to become certified.
- 4 hour Healthcare Provider CPR included with course
CNA courses offered during the Day, Evening and Weekend!
All sections include 70 hours lecture/lab and 50 hours clinical experience in a skilled nursing facility for a total of 120 hours.

** If you complete clinical through a job or workplace then the tuition will be lowered to $700.
We currently use Hartman’s Nursing Assistant Care: The Basics 6th ed – Textbook & Workbook
Students may purchase the textbooks, scrub top and gait belt from the school or they can be purchased elsewhere.
Most students will wear scrub pants to clinical. Scrub pants do not need to match your scrub tops. They can be any color. We do not currently sell scrub pants. There are usually scrub pant alternatives depending on the clinical site you are attending. Please ask your instructor on the first day of class if you are interested in wearing something other than scrub pants.

Tuition Assistance
If you are employed with a Long Term Facility within your first year after certification you may be eligible for tuition and testing fees reimbursement.
